Due to the postponement of the Rio Major, Valve has decided to introduce a set of online regional events which serve as qualifiers of sorts for the biggest event on the calendar. The first of these will be ESL's Road to Rio tournament, an online CS:GO event split up across regions, offering a set of Regional Major Ranking points for the participants.
