The 2023 BLAST Premier Spring Europe Showdown will see eight teams from Europe and China competing for BLAST Premier ranking points, the $67,500 prize pool, and a slot in the all-important Spring Finals.

BLAST Premier Spring Europe Showdown 2023: Format and Prize Pool

The BLAST Premier is a series of short-bout events in a global circuit, split into three key stages throughout the year: Spring, Fall, and the World Final. Here is a brief rundown of the entire schedule for the BLAST Premier 2023 season.

  • BLAST Premier Spring Showdown - March 29 - April 2
  • BLAST Premier Spring Final - June 7 - 11
  • BLAST Premier Fall Groups - July 13 - 23
  • BLAST Premier Fall Showdown - October 4 - 8
  • BLAST Premier Fall Finals - November 22 - 26
  • BLAST Premier World Final - December 13 - 17

The 2023 BLAST Premier Spring Showdown is split into two international regions: Europe and America. Both tournaments take place on the same date online, beginning on March 29 until April 2 for a short-but-sweet intensive bout of matches. There are 16 teams in total, split in half across the two regions for eight teams in each. The entire prize pool for the Spring Showdown events is $135,000 USD, split across both regions for $67,500 each. 

In the BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown, eight competing teams will be placed in single-elimination bracket playoffs, where every match will be played as best-of-three. 

For the BLAST Premier Spring European Showdown, there is a generous prize pool of $67,500 and 2,800 BLAST Premier points on offer. Both are split amongst all participating teams, with the lion’s share of $20,000 and 1,000 BLAST Premier points being awarded to the winners, who also automatically qualify for the BLAST Premier Spring Final.
