The DPC SEA Tour 2 will kick off with a bang on March 13, continuing until April 3. The 2023 DPC SEA Tour 2 Division I is part of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), organized by Epulze.

The DPC points won from this professional tournament determine each team’s qualification for The International 2023, the biggest Dota 2 competition in the esports scene.

Without further ado, here is everything you need to know about the DPC SEA Tour 2, including the match format, all eight competing teams, and the schedule for proceedings.

DPC SEA Tour 2: Format

There are eight competing teams for the DPC SEA Tour 2. There are six teams from Division I of the previous tour and two from Division II of the last tour.  All DPC SEA Tour 2 matches are played in a single-round-robin format, with marginal room for error. All games are played as Bo3.

The top four teams from DPC SEA Tour 2 automatically qualify for the Berlin Major in April. 1st through to 6th place will remain in their current division for the next tour, while 7th and 8th are relegated to Division II.

DPC SEA Tour 2: Prize Pool

As with all DPC tournaments, there is a hefty prize pool available. This time around, there is $205,000 USD available, split between all eight competing teams. The lion’s share of $30,000 is awarded to the DPC SEA Tour 2 winner.

There are also 1,150 DPC points on offer, split between the top 5 teams. These all important DPC points help the teams in their individual DPC campaigns and help secure their spot at The International at the end of the year.
