Fresh off the back of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023, the Counter-Strike 2 community won't be twiddling their thumbs for long as the next major CS2 tournament is on the horizon. Enter BetBoom Dacha CS2, a shiny new esports tournament officially hosted by FISSURE, hits the CS2 scene on December 5.

Big names like Cloud9, Astralis, and BetBoom Team are among the eight teams lining the battlefield, all gunning for a slice of the massive $300,000 prize pool split amongst the top four.

BetBoom Dacha 2023: Format

BetBoom Dacha has a compact tournament format across five action-packed days, running from December 5 until December 10. It kicks off with the Group Stage, where all eight teams are sorted into two double-elimination format (GSL) groups, battling it out in Bo3 matches.

The cream of the crop - the top two teams from each group - advance to the playoffs, while the remaining teams bid farewell to the competition and are eliminated.

The Playoffs are a single-elimination bracket with no upper bracket or lower bracket. The Semifinals are Bo3, while the Grand Final is Bo5.

Big names are competing in the CS2 BetBoom Dacha 2023 competition. There are six invited teams will be joined by two from online stage Closed Qualifiers to make for a powerful lineup of eight teams in total. Cloud9 is stepping into the ring with the momentum of their 3rd-4th place finish in the BLAST Premier Fall Final. The big question is, can they turn up the heat and top their previous performance?
