The last League of Legends patch 13.14 brought some of the biggest changes of the year to the game, including new champion Naafiri, the Soul Fighter Summer event, and the new 2v2v2 Arena game mode.

The LoL patch notes for 13.15 seem tame in comparison, only bringing some slight balance changes and other key adjustments to Riot Games' popular MOBA.

The Tournament of Souls continues with five new Soul Fighter skins to add to the set and other champion adjustments across the board. Here are all the changes coming in the upcoming LoL patch 13.15.

WHEN WILL LOL PATCH 13.14 BECOME LIVE?

According to Riot Games' official patch schedule, the League of Legends patch 13.15 is set to go live on August 2, 2023

The patch will be rolled out across the day according to all major league servers' time zones - here are all the critical patch rollout times for all major LoL servers worldwide.

  • 3 AM PT (NA)
  • 5 AM GMT (EU West)
  • 3 AM CET (EU North East)

As with all new patch releases, there will be several hours of server downtime as the patch is rolled out. Matchmaking and competitive queues will be disabled before the patch is made fully live.

WHAT'S NEW IN LOL PATCH 13.15?

Plenty of changes will be sweeping over Summoner's Rift with the League of Legends patch 13.15. These changes include several champion buffs, nerfs, and system changes as Riot Games begin preparing for the LoL Worlds meta.

Since Naafiri's launch in patch 13.14, she has emerged as a strong contender in the meta, despite her low win rate of below 50%. As such, Riot will be tweaking her damage capabilities and bringing her back in line with other mid-lane champions. Kai'Sa also currently dominates the battlefield with her AP build in professional play, so Riot is attempting to rein that in.

The two brothers, Yone and Yasuo, are currently lacklustre picks in the meta, following the ADC mythic item rework. The balance team plans to give them some love in LoL patch 13.15.

  • Critical strike chance damage ratio increased from 1.2 to 1.3

  • Critical strike chance damage ratio increased from 2.5% damager per 10% to 3.5% damage per 10% crit

  • Base shield power now uses level growth (+30 at level 3, +75 at level 6, +125 at level 9, +79 at level 16)

  • Base shield increased from 45-65 (based on level) to 55-75 (based on level)

Yorick

Eulogy of the Isles (R)

  • Maiden base health changed from 350/1825/3300 to 400-1650 (based on level)
  • Maiden health ratio reduced from 70% of Yorick's max health to 60% of Yorick's max heath
  • Maiden now has 10-50 (based on level) armor and magic resistance
  • Maiden now has 12.5 health regeneration

LoL Patch 13.15: Item and System Adjustments

Night Harvester

  • Damage now only triggers on auto attacks, abilities, direct spells, and pet damage instead of all types of damage

Smite

  • Now deals 2-160 (based on level) damage against champion pets (matches champion damage)

Glacial Augment

  • Base slow reduced from 30% to 20%
  • Bonus AD ratio increased from 4% per bonus 100 AD to 7% per 100 bonus AD
  • AP ratio increased from 3% per bonus 100 AP to 6% per bonus 100 AP

Final Thoughts

Those were all the new balance changes in the LoL patch 13.15. Champion pets seem to have received the brunt end of Riot's balancing hammer this time, as their HP and resistances have been nerfed significantly. It will be interesting to see how the meta changes in the steady run-up to LoL Worlds in October!
