Riyadh Masters 2023 will begin on July 18 and end on July 30 for an action-packed 12 days featuring some of the strongest Dota 2 teams from across the globe. 12 teams will begin in the Play-In Stage, while the remaining eight automatically are seeded into the Group Stage.

Play-In Stage (July 18 - 20)

• 12 teams compete, split into two groups of six teams in a single-round-robin
• All matches are best-of-two
• Top two teams from each group advance to the Group Stage
• Third to sixth-place teams from each group will be matched - third vs sixth and fourth vs fifth
• Losers are eliminated, and the winners advance to the Group Stage

Group Stage (July 21 - 24)

• Two groups of eight teams compete in a single round-robin.
• All matches are best-of-two
• Top four teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Upper Bracket
• Fifth and sixth-placed teams from each group advance to the Playoffs Lower Bracket

Playoffs Stage (July 25 - 30)

• Ten teams compete in a double-elimination bracket
• All matches, except the Grand Final, are best-of-three
• The Grand Final is best-of-five
