It's been a week since the last League of Legends patch 14.3 launched, which included the release of Smolder the Fiery Fledging. Since the previous patch was chock-full of content, League of Legends patch 14.4 will bring things down a notch with slight changes to outlying champions in the meta, like Rek'Sai and K'Sante, to bring them back into the fold.

League patch 14.4 will also feature some significant updates to the World Atlas support item and some of its upgrades, and the fan-favorite item, Black Cleaver, will also get a small but significant buff.

LOL PATCH 14.4 RELEASE DATE

As per Riot Games' official patch schedule for 2024, League of Legends patch 14.4 is set to be released on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Like previous patches, the rollout of League patch 14.4 will occur gradually throughout the day, following various server timezones, starting with the Oceanic server around 10 AM AEST

Here are all the critical LoL patch rollout times for the remaining servers.

  • 5 AM GMT (EU West)
  • 3 AM CET (EU North East)
  • 8 AM KST (Korea)
  • 3 PM CT (NA)

Riot Games will temporarily disable all matchmaking and competitive queues for several hours before the update is deployed on servers. It's important to avoid entering any ranked games during this period to prevent potential disconnections and the loss of your hard-earned RP.

LOL PATCH 14.4: WHAT'S NEW? 

League of Legends Season 14 overhauled many in-game systems, including the Support Items. This new change saw all Support champions starting off with the same item, gaining the ability to choose an upgrade after completing the support quest. These items have turned out to be super powerful in their own right, so Riot Games aims to bring them down a notch in League of Legends patch 14.4.

  • Meep base damage per 5 Chimes reduced from 14 to 10.

  • Gold per champion proc increased from 30/28 to 36/33
  • Gold per minion proc increased from 20 to 24

Runic Compass

  • Quest charge timer increased from 18 seconds to 23 seconds
  • Gold timer reduced from five seconds to four seconds
  • Gold per champion proc increased from 34/32 to 41/38
  • Gold per minion proc increased from 28 to 34

Bounty of Worlds

  • Health increased from 100 to 200
  • Health regen increased from 50% to 75%
  • Mana regen increased from 50% to 75%

Bloodsong

  • Ranged damage amp reduced from 6% to 5%

Solstice Sleigh

  • Movement speed altered from 90% flat to 30%
  • Duration reduced from four seconds to three seconds
  • Heal changed from 120 to 7% of max HP

Zakzak's Realmspike

  • Base damage reduced from 50 to 20
  • AP ratio increased from 15% to 20%
  • Cooldown changed from 9 - 6 seconds to 8/7/6 seconds (at levels 1/11/16)

Black Cleaver

  • Armor shred per stack increased from 4% to 5%
  • Number of stacks reduced from six to five

Terminus

  • Number of stacks reduced from five to three
  • Resist per stack changed from 3/4/5 (at levels 1/11/14) to 6 - 8 (from levels 1 - 18)
  • Penetration per stack increased from 6% to 10% (max unchanged)
  • Dagger replaced by Recurve Bow in recipe tree, total cost is unchanged
