VCT Last Chance Qualifier Pacific: Format

Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) are the final stage before VCT Champions and have no prize pool. They decide the final team to qualify. Seven teams will compete in a hybrid elimination format.

  • The seeds are based on the regular VCT Pacific season standings.
  • 6th and 7th-seeded and 3rd-5th-seeded teams both compete in single-elimination rounds played in a nest-of-three format; the former competing in Round 1 (Talon Esports, DetonatioN FocusMe) and the latter receiving a bye into the Quarterfinals (Global Esports, Rex Regum Qeon, Gen.G).
  • 1st and 2nd seeded teams receive a bye into the Upper Bracket Semifinals. From this point onwards, all matches are a double-elimination bracket (Team Secret, ZETA Division).
  • The Lower Bracket Finals and Grand Finals, which are best-of-five.
  • New agent, Deadlock, is unavailable to play.
